NC Demos February Blog Hop - South for the Winter

Welcome to my post for this month's NC Demos Blog Hop! I hope you are enjoying this month's projects and getting lots ideas for your own South for the Winter stamping and crafting!:

Living in Florida year round is such a treat and a blessing for sure.  We are outside most of the year.  This week my neighbor Netta had her 90th Birthday.  One of Netta’s friends was taking her out to lunch and when they got back I had a few of her other friends in my courtyard for cake and birthday celebration. Netta was totally surprised and enjoyed every minute of it.

Below seated next to me is Netta the birthday girl, her friend Heather standing. We had a couple more guest but someone else took those photos.

Below I set up my potting bench for a serving piece.  I made that birthday banner several years ago so all the products are retired except for the colors but it was a fun project.  I need to update it with our products we have in our catalog now.  That will be my goal for next month.  We have a lot of birthdays in the spring.  How about you do you need to make a birthday banner for your family and friends. This also will work hanging from a dinning room light fixture. I originally made it for a customer in Garner NC that was having a Stampin' UP! party on her mother's birthday so she made a birthday cake and I made the banner to use.   When I know it is a birthday I usually try to remember to bring it and share with them all.

Netta loved her card and showed it to everyone.

I cased the card from Karen Patterson but added the 90th part. We had a few more people but someone else got those pics.  I love eclipse cards.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing Netta's celebration and what we do in the winter in Florida.  :)

Don't forget to check out Christina's blog, she is next on the list and get more ideas.
