Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop May 2019

Hello, my name is Frances Wagner of  WagStamps, welcome to May Home Decor SU Blog Hop.  I love making home decor items with my stamps, ink and paper.

This is my project for this month and be sure to check out the others creative ideas.

Each month I stamp with my friend Evi who lives in an assisted living facility. We met at a vendor fair I participated in at Brennity a few years ago.  We meet each month and she typically has ideas of what of she wants to create each month.  This month Evi ask me if we could do something for her Memorial Day Celebration with her friends.  She likes to have table gifts for her dinner parties or something cute we have created together for her table.  So we started out making a holder for her flatware using bandanas and we made a little flag type medallion for it.

Then she asked if we could change it to putting candy in the bandana and add the same medallion and that is what we did.

So for a little more home decor I used the bandanas on my side table lamp and added the same medallion and sprinkled some stars around the base.   I hope this inspires you to use your stamps and ink and paper for your celebrations this month.

I typically do not used retired products for my projects but I needed a star for the medallion and found this in my retired stash (you know some things you just can't get rid of)  :(   The larger stars are from the Wood Crate Die.

Thanks for stopping by.
