Hello my stamping friends, I wanted to share my schedule with you for April. I will be out of town on 4/6-4/9 on a fabulous trip to a Stampin UP Conference called ON Stage in Savannah. I have 10 of my team members meeting me from FL, NC and PA there and one of my team members from Virginia is going to the event in Richmond, VA. When I get back I will have a new catalog and so many samples and ready to share with you. So make sure you sign up for one of my events and play with me. I will be having an open house at the end of May for the new catalog so stay tuned for that. I am also booking parties for April and May so look at my calendar and see what date works for you and contact me to get on my calendar. Check my blog while I am gone for pictures of what I am up too.

Welcome to my team Mitzi Fields from Newport News VA.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Chick- get it now while you can!!!

Last week I posted a hen and baby chicks and some have asked for directions.  Here is a photo and I will try to make it understandable. By the way I want to give Candy Michael full credit for this adorable design.  Thanks Candy. My stamp campers loved it last weekend.

Below is a drawing that may help.

Size is 5"x7.5" and free hand the hen (after you make the pattern fold a 12x12 piece of designer paper in 1/2 and cut out hen) use the rest of the 12x12 for a layer on the 3x3 cards

Strip of window sheet 6"x3/4"  staple on the inside on each end
Punches:
*Tree Builder branches for the waddle and comb in real red
Glue behind the head so they both show from the front
*Blossom Builder largest flower petal for wing with coordinating DSP or card stock of your choice
*Hand cut a triangle for beak and color a pearl with sharpie for eye
*The button was from my retired stash of buttons

* Cut two 3"x6" white cards and   fold in half
* Layer a 2.75" x 2.75" crumb cake or your color choice for next            layer
* Layer 2.5" x2.5" designer paper from your left over paper from when you cut the hen out
* Stamp one of the chicks on an angle on a 1.5/8" stitched square
add color to the chick on the beak and waddle (real red and                 pumpkin pie markers)
* Hang the 3x3 cards over the window sheet inside the hen

*Holder that did not work so well for me
White card stock 2"x 2.5" on 2.5" side score at .50" and 1.50"
Cut grass from the Basket Builder Framelit Dies #143228
or you could use the fringe scissors (I used Old Olive Card Stock        2"x2.5" for grass)

I hope this helps you create wonderful chicks..  You still have time to order the FREE Hey Chicks stamp set when you order $50 from the Stampin' UP! catalogs by Friday 3/31/17.  Contact me if you have any questions.

March - NC Demo Blog Hop

This month our theme is spring and my team mate Karen Patterson and I just had a Spring/Easter stamp camp today and here are some of our projects.  Everyone loved what we came up with.  I could not do this without Karen's help. There is a lot of work that goes into a stamp camp and we work well together. Plus she is an excellent cook.  :)

This is one of our projects using the egg cartons from Stampin UP! They are originally white and I used rubbing alcohol with 5 drops of Tempting Turquoise ink refill in a spray bottle and sprayed them. I love the soft aqua (my favorite color) I got the tag idea from Pinterest and everyone loved it.

We made two Easter cards!  This one reminded me of when I was growing up we always got a new Easter dress and I just thought this fun set "Beautiful You" was perfect for an Easter outfit.

This was from the "Easter Messages" set and we showed how to use the watercolor technique using  ink pads with the aqua painters and on another project we used the watercolor pencils.  They loved that they learned two ways to get the watercolor look.

Who doesn't like the Hey Chick set from the Sale a bration  FREE set.  That has been my most popular set chosen this year and you have just 5 more days to get it. Then you it will never be sold again. Check out the Sale bration catalog to view other FREE products.

This darling chicken idea came from a fellow demonstrator Candy Michael. I love how it turned out.    Thanks Candy.

The mama chicken holds two 3x3 cards inside under her wing.  Sweet.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to go to the next blog and see what fun things the other NC Demos have for you.
