I wanted to make a special card for my niece Amber's wedding.  I started out with using her wedding colors (garden green was pretty close to the color) This is the bridesmaid's dress color.

Then the creating began.........1st try - too white:

2nd try - burlap too stark of a contrast.

3rd try was a charm.......... I love the way it turned out and hope she loved it too.  She is on her honeymoon so I haven't heard yet.

I white washed the burlap ribbon with a white acrylic paint with a dry brush technique.  I used the wood chip from the Truly Grateful stamp set which matched her table decorations.

                                  Truly Grateful Wood 131730-$27.95  Clear 131733- $19.95

Chalk Talk Stamp Set-  Wood 130631-$$25.95  Clear 130634 - $18.95

Chalk Talk Framelits Dies  129983   Price: $24.95

Many of my customers ask me how I come up with ideas so I hope this helps you see the process the first two were not glued down so I didn't waste any supplies.  Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by.
