Guest Stamper Sally Petters

Earlier this week, I sent out a challenge on Facebook for other stampers to make 3 cads using Stampin UP Stamps with the same set and post them on my facebook page by 9pm est. Sally has been a friend of mine through stamping and church for several years and she loves stamping as much as I do. Here are her 3 cards using the Pretty Postage stamp set. Thank you Sally for accepting my challenge. I look forward to seeing your cards in the future.

Below are the cards I made for the challenge. I used the stamp set Pennant Parade. You can see how both sets are very versatile and can be used in many ways. I used the samples in the Stampin UP catalog for inspiration. I changed colors on some and changed position of items on others. That is the great thing about our catalog, there are so many ideas you do not have to come up with everything on your own. Join me on facebook on my sidebar on my blog and join our challenge on Sunday night.

Magnificent 6 Stamp Club Card pieces

Tonight I am cutting paper for my M6 Stamp club for Saturday. They are such fun and some of them do look at my blog so I thought I would tease them with the pieces I have cut for one of the cards they will be making. I will show you the card later on Saturday.

I love the new Pennant Parade stamp set #122742 that coordinates with the Petite Pennants Builder punch #122361(which I might add that I earned a bundle including these two products along with chip board, polka dot ribbon and Just Add Cake DSP paper FREE this month)! How great is that, and next month I get another free bundle from the Holiday Mini Catalog which is gorgeous by the way you are going to love it.

If you want to start earning FREE stuff join my team this month for just $99.00 and get started, email me for more details. wagstamp@bellsouth.net or call 919-334-8800

Big Shot Challenge

About 11 years ago when I lived in Victorville, CA I met another demo on line Terri Tank that was from that area but at the time was overseas and we chatted on line with a yahoo group called SU Sisters. We have remained friends ever since.
Last week we were chatting on Facebook and she seem to be in a slump and I gave her a challenge to make something using the big shot and new stamp sets and colors from the new catalog. Well tonight was the reveal and I first have to say that when I gave that challenge I was thinking about a thank you gift for one of my friends that happens to be a customer of mine and she is also a Mary Kay consultant. She likes to make little gift packets for her customers and one day recently she told me how perfect pink pirouette and black went with the MK theme. So I used the challenge I gave to Terri to make these projects except that I did not use in colors since the pink pirouette was so perfect and I used a stamp set that is no longer in the catalog but Stampin up demonstrators can still get them.
Thanks for looking and next week I will follow the rules we set. :)

My project~

Bunco Prizes

These are my bunco prizes for my regular bunco group (non stampers - I have tried to get those girls to stamp!) Anyway when I moved into the neighborhood 9 years ago I started a bunco group and we have been meeting once a month for dinner and bunco ever since. We have a great time. With this group each person pays a fee to play and there are only 5 prizes. You put your money in the pot this month so next month hostess can purchase the prizes and it can be anything she wants within the price range. Some of my prizes I wrapped some I did not because of what they looked like. So I thought I would share with you the packaging. First you will see them all below. I made tags for them all (Two Tags Big Shot die #115954. Punched boho flowers #119858 and added a brad and a label for ease for titles of prize bracket.
On the left:
Most games prize - the beverage container, I loved it because it has a place to put your ice to keep your beverage chilled and a spout for easy use.
Second most games- the white cake plate with polka dot tempting turquoise ribbon and the tag is in the back I believe.

The smaller bag was a Belk store bag from a purchase I made. It was the perfect size for my pizza box with 3x3 cards. I just added cardstock to hide the Belk logo and cut out some of our cute dies Flower Daisies #2 #114520 with the Lattice background #115958 from the big shot and glued it all on. I just loved the way it turned out.

The prize was 4 small enclosure cards with envelopes in a pizza box with a belly band (I used the Beautiful Butterflies #114507 die on belly band)
This will be one of the projects (different design) that I will offer in my August 27th Stamp Camp. Be sure to check my blog later this month and for more details for that.

I forgot to take a picture of the prize it was a snowcone machine with syrup and the paper cones to hold it in. Cute cute cute. This the bag before I started stamping it.

This is the plain white bag after I stamped flowers (Love & Care Hostess set in Summer mini catalog)on it and added a tag and a paper flower from the big shot die Fun Flowers #121812.

This is a darling hugh tea cup and saucer planter with "My Favorite polka dots)I just dropped a small plant in it and made another cute tag.
Thanks for stopping by, the first 3 people that make a comment on my blog with get a card in the mail from me. Put your email address on your comment and I will email you for your address.
Blessings, Frances

Pennant Parade card from Open House

Yesterday we had a great time at the new catalog open house. This is the card we made. I had my retired sets for sale and met some new people and an all around fun day. Thanks for coming and check out my classes for future fun.
On the 3x6 card we made we used the following supplies:

Pennant Parade Stamp Set
Petite Pennant Builder Punch
1/16 Circle Punch
Whisper White Card stock
Island Indigo Card stock and Ink
Lucky Limeage Card stock and Ink
Rich Razzleberry Ink
White Baker's Twine
Do you remember when you first got your box of 16 crayons and you had these beautiful new colors that the basic 8 did not have? Well these three colors Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Rich Razzleberry remind me of those beautiful colors in the 16 count box of crayons. :) I am just saying what a memory.

Thanks for stopping by!

Summer Fun Scrapbook page...

I am working on a scrapbook page for my Stamp Fire Girls Club meeting tomorrow and I like it so far. I hope they do. I need to start working on my own scrapbooks!!!! Have you heard that before. Well this is a start. After being at the beach last week I thought that was a great theme. I love to tear paper for layers for beach scenes. I used Kraft Cardstock for the sand and vellum for the water and Bashful Blue for the sky. I love the new Petite Pennants Builder punch that I used for the word fun that is dangling from the letter R. I cut the letters out using the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet. Love that size for titles. I will be offering a scrap club starting in August is you are intested contact me. We can work together on our memories. :)
Thanks for stopping by.
