Building Dreams

Almost 17 years ago when I joined Stampin' UP! I just joined to get the discount!  :)  Then at one of my first workshops Kathaleen wrote on their door-prize slip that she wanted to do what I do.  Wow I was so new I told her I would get right back to her and I called Stampin' UP! and said now what do I do.

That was in 1999 and I have never looked back. I have moved 7 times in 16.5 years and have had to start over each time and I have never come close to quitting.

I have members on my team that live in several different states and one that I have never met but love that she joined my team. We email, Facebook, Facetime and call each other and I am always there for each of my team members.   So if you have been on the fence and thinking about how you would like to make some extra money for your summer vacation or pay an extra car payment or whatever your needs are for you and your family, this is the perfect way to earn extra money.  Check out the advantages of becoming a SU demo.

Playful Pals

Last Monday my stamp club met and we always have so much fun.  Over the last month Penny and I kept missing each other and I brought her order to club.  She opened her bag and said I can't wait to learn how to use these (Playful Pals and Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies) she was sitting next to me and said could you have a class with these sets?  Of course I said yes!!!  I asked if I could use her set because I have not bought it yet.  She handed it to me and said create for us.  So I looked on line because I had not even looked at the video on how to put it together.  It is so easy and they are sooooooooo darn cute.  If you have small kids or grandkids you are going to want to have this bundle. OR even if you know someone that collects frogs it would be a cute gift with money inside or candy etc.   I cased this cute frog from Miss Pinks Craft Spot from Pinterest.  Thanks for such a great idea, Sue Vine from Australia.   The back pulls out so you can add treats.

Playful Pals Photopolymer Bundle   141069   Price: $59.50
Check the video here you are going to love these little critters.

These are my club cards from Monday. I have the best stamp club. This week we met and made 3 cards I was not feeling the creative juices so I went to a few of my favorite demo sites and looked around.  This is a case below from Brian King I stamped on a circle for the tree instead of stamping a circle stamp.  When you don't have everything that you need you just adjust your supplies right?  The reason I chose this card was I had a full package of SDP I had never opened the pack(I know some of you can identify with collecting paper) :)

I cased the next two from Mary Fish I just used some different paper that I had not opened too.  Oh my goodness I am in trouble we are getting ready for a new catalog and I have a lot of things that are retiring.

Make sure you check out the retired list and some of the products are on sale.

Our theme this month is to use a retiring set and use either Mother's Day or feminine theme. I am going to miss the A Nice Cuppa along with the cute Cups and Kettles Framilits Die! Perfect for Mother's Day, don't you think? You can still get it, however it is on the retired list.

Check it out on my website  Item number 140683 for $17.00 in photopolymer.

Here are a few samples using that set.

Don't forget to follow the other blogs on the great hop.

Last Weekly Deals

Here are a few things I have been working on lately! Actually my sample is not in the photo!  :( It is a little lamb with the word spring on it.  I will show you later. I was in an inchy swap 2x2 cards to frame or add to a card or a scrapbook page. The idea is if we all use the same colors and theme it will all coordinate perfectly and I think we achieved that.  I swapped with a few Stampin' UP! demonstrators from North Carolina. These are adorable and I can't wait to get them framed.
